Multiple “screens” hold different features at once: a half-lidded eye pressed into a rectangular window near the top, a spiral pupil trapped in a tilted triangle to the left, and another eye flickering on the right like a surveillance frame. Between them, a jagged, tooth-like mark suggests a mouth, while netted and striped textures stitch the compartments together.
The composition feels loud and compressed, as if the figure is being folded, boxed, and re-boxed in real time. Zigzag crown-lines and cracking angles at the top add voltage, while curved, ribbed arcs at the bottom keep the body in motion. Instead of resolving into one likeness, the portrait stays fractured and guarded, an inner life seen through shutters, grids, and overlapping perspectives.
