Many-Eyed Static (2026, New York) refuses to stay singular. A loose head fractures into stacked profiles, watchful eyes, and partial gestures that crowd the same space like overlapping thoughts. Dark, irregular forms and sharp linear contours create a shifting structural frame, while red and ochre accents pulse through the composition like emotional signals, urgent, intermittent, unresolved. The drawing reads as both face and diagram: a map of attention split across memory, noise, and feeling. Minimal in palette but dense in tension, the work holds contradictory states at once, alert and withdrawn, playful and guarded, capturing the inner weather of a person in flux.
