Open-edition print
2026, New York · Original: colored pencil on paper.
Two creatures appear like trapped impulses, pushing against the stripes of a mapped life. They want to rupture the route, but the grid is everywhere, outside and inside, until even the brain moves along it automatically. The drawing becomes a portrait of resistance under conditioning: a self trying to break free from a path it has learned to follow. The closest thing to an exit is a glitch, a small misalignment where the pattern fails and something real slips through.
